Angel Curious: Angels Outside

​Angel investing — like Melbourne's weather — rewards people who prepare well and show up!

Celebrating World Outdoor Office Day, we’re taking angel investing conversations out of cafés, conference rooms and video calls, and into the park.

​Join a small group of Melbourne angel investors for a relaxed lunchtime walk around Albert Park Lake. We’ll meet at the Boatshed Cafe so you can grab a takeaway coffee, then walk the lake circuit in rotating pairs, giving everyone a chance to meet a few new people and compare notes on startups, investing and the Melbourne ecosystem.

​There are no pitches, panels or slides. Just fresh air, useful conversations and a chance to connect with other angels. We'll pair you with another angel to walk and talk with, and you'll switch people every 15mins or so.

​After the walk, we’ll head to the Rising Sun Hotel in South Melbourne for optional buy-your-own lunch from 12:30pm. M8 Ventures may even shout you a beer/wine/softie.

​Timing:
10:55am: Meet at Boatshed Cafe, Albert Park. Get your coffee order in!
11:10am: Walk starts
12:30pm: Optional lunch at Rising Sun Hotel

​What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes, a raincoat or umbrella if the weather looks wet, and curiosity about other investors’ experiences.
