Vibe coding workshop- SheBuilds in Montreal
On International Women’s Day, Lovable’s SheBuilds is hosting an in-person buildathon (hackathon with no pressure) in Montreal's Mile End. This hands-on workshop is designed to make building with AI accessible, practical, and empowering.
You’ll learn how to use Lovable’s vibe coding platform to design and ship a simple working app by the end of the day. No technical background required. If you can describe an idea, you can build it.
This event is primarily aimed at women who want to explore building with AI in a supportive environment. That said, everyone is welcome.
We are also making this event parent-friendly. A dedicated kids’ area will be set up on-site, with someone assigned to keep children reasonably entertained so caregivers can participate fully.
Big thank you to Le Wagon for hosting us in their space. The event is organized by Tatiana, a SheBuilds hackathon alumna and Sally. We chose to host this event because we believe the future is stronger, brighter if women are a part of it. Currently women are under-represented in AI building tool user base- by a lot. We can change that by coming together and supporting each-other.

Participants arrive, get settled, and complete a short pre-event survey.
2:00pm - Kick-off & networking
Welcome, intro to Lovable, why this day matters, and what participants can expect to build and ship.
2:30pm - Get ready to build
Account setup, quick intro to vibe coding workflow, and guidance on how to approach building with confidence as a beginner.
3:00pm - Build & publish
Hands-on building session where participants use Lovable to create and publish a working app using free credits.
4:30pm - Share, celebrate, connect
Participants share what they built, reflect on key learnings, and submit projects to the SheBuilds International Women’s Day showcase. Wrap-up, group photo, and information on how to stay connected.
5:00pm - Optional demo
Voluntary live demos for participants who want to present their project and receive feedback.
