​Manager effectiveness is often treated as a training challenge, yet most organizations know the real issue runs deeper. Without clear standards, reinforcement, and system-level support, even well-designed manager programs struggle to produce consistent impact at scale.

​In this Idea Lab, TMC members will come together to explore how organizations are approaching manager effectiveness as a system—not a one-off initiative. We’ll examine what it takes to define a meaningful manager standard, embed a small number of high-impact routines, and build reinforcement mechanisms that actually drive adoption across levels and contexts.
