The Power of Brain Health Begins in Your Mouth
🦷 We were taught to brush before we could read—so why do we still get cavities?
Join Jeremy Horst Keeper, DDS, MS, PhD for an exploration of how oral health connects directly to brain health. Drawing from cutting-edge UCSF research, Dr. Keeper traces how nutrients, microbes, and memory are deeply linked—and why drilling teeth may soon be as outdated as amputating a leg for infection.
You’ll leave with surprising, practical tools you can apply immediately—from foods that physiologically reverse cavities to understanding how your gum health predicts your mental longevity. This isn’t just about teeth—it’s about rethinking the root of disease itself.
+ This lecture includes an optional, hands-on activity that will reveal your personal salivary & dental plaque health. 🧠

Accessibility can vary depending on the space, so please research our specific venue to learn more about things like wheelchair access and service animal policies. If you have any accessibility needs not covered here, feel free to reach out and we’ll do our best to support you.
