#ChallengeAccepted: How to Find & Secure Event Work in 2026
The way event work is found, hired, and secured is changing, fast.
Whether you’re a freelancer, contractor, or looking for a full-time role, navigating today’s global events market can feel overwhelming. Different countries, different contracts, different expectations… and no clear rulebook.
In this #ChallengeAccepted session, we’re joined by Elly Walsh (I Am Recruitment) & Claire Tulloch (Pebble) to break down what actually works when it comes to finding and securing event work in 2026, from a recruiter’s perspective.
This practical, no-nonsense conversation will cover:
How hiring is really working in 2026 (and what’s changed)
What recruiters look for in freelancers and full-time candidates
How to position yourself for global opportunities
Common mistakes that stop great people from getting hired
Practical steps you can take immediately to improve your chances of securing work
If you want clarity, confidence, and actionable advice, not vague motivation, this session is for you.
