About Event

Our July Startup Lab in partnership with UCLPartners and RADIANT CERSI (Centre for Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation) will focus on the role of regulation in shaping digital health and AI innovation.

This event is tailored to founders, clinicians, and healthcare innovators looking to understand better the regulatory landscape, its impact on innovation and adoption, and how to bring solutions to market and patients, effectively.

The panel discussion will be led by Andrea Nahum, a London-based Medical Doctor training in General Practice and Clinical Innovation Fellow at King’s College London. Most recently, Andrea has been working closely with RADIANT-CERSI, gathering clinicians’ perspectives on AI and digital health, with a particular focus on regulatory aspects.

Joining the discussion will be representatives from Curistica, Aival, Zinc Innovation Partners and RADIANT, who will share perspectives from across the digital health, AI, and innovation ecosystem. Together, the panel will explore whether the UK's regulatory approach is helping to drive responsible innovation or creating barriers to scaling and adoption.

Panel:

-Dr Keith Grimes, Curistica Founder and CEO
-Kanwal Bhatia, Aival Founder and CEO
-Dr Gabriella Spinelli, RADIANT Director, Head of Brunel Design School
