Richmond City Council Energy Efficiency Subcommittee Hearing
Note: This extracurricular action is only available for residents of Richmond City.
Richmond City is finally considering an energy efficiency measure, Resolution 2026-R003. We need advocates to speak in favor of this resolution at City Council's Land Use, Housing, and Transportation Committee meeting.
This moment is make-or-break for this initiative. If this resolution doesn't get approved out of this committee, then it doesn't proceed to a full vote. Advocates can speak in-person on the 2nd floor of City Hall to support this resolution.
Additionally, you can participate virtually. To do so, you'll need to preregister with the City Clerk to speak by calling (804) 646-7955 and selecting 'Option 3' by 10:00 AM. Ask to give public comment to Agenda Item 7: Resolution 2026-R003.
