The Last Skill: Self-Directed Learning in the Age of AI
As AI reshapes how we access and organize knowledge, the most valuable ability may be the skill to direct your own learning. Join Diego Vera at OCAD University on May 27 for a practical session about designing a sustainable, effective personal learning system: choosing the right projects, evaluating and curating resources, setting measurable milestones, and using AI tools to accelerate understanding without losing depth.
Expect hands-on frameworks, quick demos of helpful tools and workflows, and time to build a short, actionable learning plan you can start immediately. Bring a learning goal or problem you’re working on and leave with concrete next steps, a reading/practice roadmap, and resources to keep advancing independently.
Note: Food and drinks will be available (included in your ticket)
This event is supported by OCAD University’s Office of Research & Innovation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about OCAD’s “Research is Everything” initiative during the event.
