PixVerse x GMI Studio Hackathon @ Launch Day
This hackathon challenges builders, creators, and engineers to use PixVerse’s video generation models, running on GMI’s fast inference platform, to create short videos to show us what’s possible when AI meets imagination.
This hackathon is part of GMI’s product launch event and is designed to be:

No prior experience with video generation is required.

How You’ll Build (GMI Studio Workflow)
To help teams focus on ideas and storytelling, we’ll provide a pre-built GMI Studio workflow connected to PixVerse.
Participants will:
start from a half-built video generation workflow
swap in their own prompts, scenes, and concepts
iterate quickly without touching infrastructure

Teams of 2–4 people are recommended, but solo participants are welcome. Remote joiners are welcome.

1:00 – 1:30 PM — Hackathon kickoff & challenge overview
1:30 – 2:30 PM — Build time (mentors available)
2:30 – 2:50 PM — Workshop (storytelling + workflow tips)
2:50 – 4:30 PM — Build time (mentors available)
4:30 – 5:15 PM — Submissions & finalist selection
5:15 – 5:45 PM — Live demos
5:45 – 6:00 PM — Awards & wrap-up
Workshop
Roan Weigert will show how to combine real footage with AI-generated scenes in a workshop.
Pro tip: Don’t wait until the workshop to start building! Mentors and demo tutorials will help you get going right away. The workshop is perfect once you’re familiar and want to level up your storytelling skills.
Judging Criteria
Projects will be judged on:
Impact — does it make people think or feel something?
Visual Boldness — do the visuals elevate the idea?
Concept Clarity — is the message intentional and clear?
Cohesion — does the video hold together as a story?
Risk-taking is encouraged.
