The route has slopes and the ground gets a bit slippery, so the tour does not run if it rains.
A local village bus carries us from Dongdaemun's Great East Gate (1398) up Naksan, the eastern guardian mountain of old Seoul. Watch the city light up and Seoul's evening commute roll past the window. At the top we walk the 600-year-old fortress wall down into Ihwa Mural Village — a 1950s hillside covered in murals and painted staircases since 2006. Six centuries of stone on one side, the glowing skyline on the other, and a photo spot at every corner. The sky shifts colour by the minute up here, so you catch Seoul's sunset changing as we walk. Best just after sunset.
Seoul is a dense, fast, high-rise capital. This is the walk where you slow down and actually look at it — the city glowing below you, on foot, with a professional local guide telling you the history behind the wall and the neighbourhood. We hope you leave with a good evening behind you.
