Get Better Results from AI: A Hands-On Prompting Workshop

​AI can give you an answer. But how do you get one that actually fits what you need?

​Join Jenny Sacks, founder of EverBot, for a practical, interactive workshop on communicating clearly with AI. Whether you’re just getting started or already using it and feeling underwhelmed by the results, you’ll learn a repeatable process for turning an idea into a useful request.

​During this 75-minute workshop, you’ll learn how to:

• ​Explain your task with the context, constraints and details that matter.

• ​Give AI information to work with, such as notes, schedules or ingredients.

• ​Improve an answer through specific follow-up instructions.

• ​Check whether the response meets your needs and recognize what requires verification.

​We’ll work through everyday examples, practice improving prompts and leave time for you to apply the process to a task of your own, with guidance and questions along the way.

​You’ll leave with a prompt-building worksheet, annotated examples, a response-checking checklist and a reusable prompt you developed during the workshop.

​What to bring: A laptop or desktop computer and one everyday task you’d like help with. Setup and AI-tool access instructions will be emailed before the workshop.

​No prior prompting experience is required. Group size is limited to 15 to allow time for practice and individual guidance.
