Can graduate students participate?
Yes! Open to all students, including students not at U of U
Do I need to know how to code?
Prior coding experience is helpful, but there will be workshops to help developers of all skill levels!
What programming languages/tech stacks can we use?
Any languages and tech stacks are permitted
Can we use AI/generative coding tools?
Yes! In fact use of AI developer tools is encouraged
Can we use existing code or does everything need to be built from scratch?
No prior written code
Do we need to prepare a presentation or just a demo?
Just a brief demo showing off your project's functionality
Do I have to stay the whole time?
If you want to qualify for the prizes, you’ll need to stay for the demo phase at 11:00pm
Can I show up late?
If necessary, though it would be best to be on time with your entire team
Where should I park?
There is paid parking on campus at the A. Ray Olpin Student Union (5 min. walk), the Marriott Library (10 min. walk) - Free after 8:00pm
There is free parking in the neighborhoods surrounding campus - N Wolcott St, E Federal Heights Dr (10-20 min. walk)
