About the artistes

KEAT
An opera singer turned songwriter and producer, KEAT is a Singaporean dancepop artist whose artistry is anchored in a blend of classical and contemporary genres. Drawing sonic influences from the likes of Troye Sivan, Sam Smith and Olly Alexander (Years & Years), he seeks to capture the emotional vulnerabilities of melancholic pop with the eclectic energies of dance - a sad sexy vibe that invites everyone to come as they are.

Over the years, KEAT has performed at reputable stages such as Pink Dot 2026, Esplanade’s Red Dot August, Baybeats, Voices - A Festival of Song and LASALLE’s Rock and Indie Fest. He has since amassed a following on social media and reached #1 on the SG TikTok Hot and SG TikTok Rising charts for his single, ‘idw2fil(again)’ in October 2023. He released his first full-length album in 2023 entitled “from me, to me, by me” with the support of the National Arts Council, culminating in a sold-out headlining show in November 2023 at L5@GR.iD.

With support from the Paul Abisheganaden Grant for Artistic Excellence in 2024, KEAT graduated from renowned Swedish songwriting academy - Musikmakarna which global pop producer Max Martin frequently visits, joining the likes of its alumni such as SHY martin, LÉON and Elvira Anderfjärd amongst many others.

DJ HOWRØNG

howrøng explores unabashedly contrary soundscapes, from the clangs of ritualistic percussion, to breakbeat and hard drum, with a sprinkling of cheeky pop edits. howrøng strives for cathartic release through a sonic-somatic experience, one that motivates their work at Bussy Temple to provide a shared rave space for release. They also run “DeconSEAS” on hanoi community radio featuring south east asian artists and musicians that push the boundaries mixing traditional instruments of east and south-east asia and electronic music.

As a resident DJ and co-founder of queer collective ‘Bussy Temple’, howrøng aims to create ecstatic rave moments for queer folk in Singapore with their music. Their style can be described as a journey through techno, experimental and deconstructed club, with selections from labels such as SVBKVLT, Mama told ya, Mord Records, and also music from local artists in south east and east asia such as Tzusing, Xhin and rEmPiT g0dDe$$.

In Singapore they have played at techno events organized by Thugshop, at HQ, Tuff Club, MDLR, and also for local underground techno collective MODAL, frequenting queer techno event series MISS HOMO and XOXO.
