UCalgary 4 YOU: a practical guide to partnering with the University of Calgary
One of Canada’s leading research universities is right on your doorstep. So, as an entrepreneur, how can you actually make it work with you - and for you?
That’s what this workshop is all about. In two hands-on hours, we’ll explore the different ways that UCalgary can help support your needs:
Talent – co-op students, interns, and student projects
Expertise – from expert advice to full research collabs
Facilities – specialized facilities with expert support
Visibility – build your profile with the next generation
Then we’ll help you pick what's most important for you right now, and start down the path to getting you there. You’ll leave with a plan: your pathway, a named contact, a funding program to explore, and your first next step.
No prior connection to the university needed. Bring a laptop or phone. Space is limited.
Hosted by the Faculty of Science with Innovate Calgary, the Industry Liaison Office and the Office of Partnerships. Part of Calgary Innovation Week 2026.
Built Here. Backed Here.
Calgary Innovation Week is the city-wide moment that brings Calgary’s innovation ecosystem into full view. Across the week, founders, industry, investors, talent and community organizations come together to share what they’re building, make connections, and show the strength of what’s being built here – and backed – here.
