Interactive Lab | From Nature to Shared Prosperity : A South-South Exchange Learning on Nature-Based Economy for Climate Resilience

This session brings together story starters and story contributors from across Asia, Latin America and with global presence to explore how nature-based and responsible bioeconomy approaches can create value while protecting ecological integrity and ensuring benefits reach communities.

Story starters will share brief experiences from different regions, ecosystems, sectors, and policy contexts. Their stories will open a wider exchange on what has worked, what has not, which conditions shaped the results, and what lessons may be relevant across contexts.

Story contributors will then bring their own experiences, questions, and perspectives into the conversation. Together, participants will identify shared patterns, meaningful differences, and principles that can support locally grounded approaches to nature-based economies.

The session will create space for practitioners, community leaders, policymakers, businesses, researchers, investors, storytellers, and ecosystem builders to learn from one another and build connections for continued collaboration across the Global South.
