We’re getting together to read The Bitcoin Standard!
It's widely considered the most accessible and foundational introduction to Bitcoin. Not because it explains Bitcoin in detail, but because it starts at the right place: money itself. What it is, how it has evolved, and why Bitcoin makes sense in that long arc.
Instead of reading it alone, we’ll read it together.
What can you expect?
We’ll begin with brief introductions, settle into a focused reading session, and aim to get through the early chapters. When something feels unclear, interesting, or worth sitting with for a moment, we’ll pause and talk. When it doesn’t, we’ll keep reading.
There’s no pressure to perform, explain, or sound smart here.
This is a beginner-friendly space. You don’t need prior knowledge of Bitcoin, economics, or finance. If you’re starting from scratch and want to build a real mental model... this is a good place to begin.
Bring your own copy of The Bitcoin Standard if you have one. A digital version works just fine too.
We’re keeping this gathering intentionally small. A handful of people, a shared text, and enough quiet for real conversation to happen.
