​Do you love reading and talking about books?

​Regardless of whether you've been reading for as long as you can remember or just recently picked up your first ever book, you are warmly invited to the 3rd edition of our Book Salon on Sunday, 21 June from 4:00 pm.

​In an intimate and cozy setting, you’ll have the chance to present a book you love in a 5-minute pitch. Whether it’s your all-time favorite novel, a childhood classic you still treasure or a page-turning thriller that kept you up beyond your usual bedtime, all genres and styles are welcome.

​Your pitch can be funny, serious, suspenseful, or include a personal story connected to the book – be as daring and creative as you like! Of course, you’re also very welcome to simply sit back and listen.

​Alongside the pitches, we’ll host a book swap, a buffet with light snacks, and some other fun activities. There will be plenty of opportunities to socialize and share our love of books!

​Please bring at least one book for the book swap and a light dish or snack for the buffet. Drinks will be provided.

​And course, you're welcome to bring a +1 (or +2, 3 etc...)! Just make sure to forward them the event link, so they register as well.

​‣ When? Sunday, 21 June, 4:00pm

• ​4:00 pm: Arrival and drinks

• ​4:30 pm: Some fun activities to get conversations flowing!

• ​5:00 pm: Pitch your book! Up to seven book lovers present a book in a 5-minute pitch.

• ​6:00 pm till open end: Book swap, buffet & socializing

​‣ Is there an age limit?

​While we don't have a strict age limit, we're a community for people in their 20s and early 30s.

​‣ Cost?

​The Book Salon is free! Just make sure to chip in with a dish or a snack for the buffet.
