PRIMAVERA: The First Green of a New Era of Computing

​Throughout history, the objects we carry have told the story of who we are—keychains, trinkets, charms, talismans. Small windows into private worlds. Our devices, by contrast, are materially identical. Dense digital museums that look like uniform black boxes.

​For its public debut, Era has collaborated with 20 artists, designers, and makers to take modular AI hardware it developed and transform it. Each collaborator has designed a custom physical enclosure and curated a distinct AI experience through Era’s software studio, producing 20 unique devices that think, speak, and behave differently. The result is a cornucopia of form and intelligence: wearable charms, sculptural objects, and intimate artifacts that blur the line between fashion, craft, and computation.

​PRIMAVERA is the first green of a more expressive, more colorful, more human future of AI, powered by Era. Every computing era has a dominant interface. PCs made computing personal. Smartphones made it mobile. AI agents will make it ambient.
