Metamorphic is a frontier NeuroAI lab developing new approaches to intelligence by training multimodal foundation models directly on the largest-scale, highest-resolution neural data available today. Rather than training only on the outputs of intelligence, we're training on the biological mechanisms that produce it.

Spiral provides data infrastructure for labs training physical AI models (e.g. neuroAI, world models). The core offering is a multimodal data warehouse optimized for workloads common in the training loop, such as video sample deduplication, episode curation based on tabular metadata filtering or semantic search, and high throughput scans for GPU data loading. Based in New York & London, Spiral is also the creators of the OSS file format, Vortex.
