“Deploying LLMs in the real world at global-scale" - by Forge (backed by OpenAI and Founders Fund)

Description:
LLMs are extraordinarily capable, but they’re also non-deterministic and difficult to control — qualities that make most enterprises hesitant to trust them with real operational work. That’s why, until now, LLMs haven’t been deployed for true mission-critical workflows.
Forge changes that.
With the Forge product, Forge has been able to combine the intelligence of LLMs with the accuracy and determinism of code, with input provided in natural language to automate anything that a person can do on a computer.
The result: Forge has automated multi-hour long human workflows, with 98%+ accuracy, and over half a million production runs for Fortune 500s completed.
That’s why some of the largest companies across industries (banking, insurance, telecom, etc.) are transforming their largest manual processes for the first time by using Forge.
This talk will cover both sides of what’s needed to do that — 1) the product philosophy and 2) the operational skill of Forward Deployed Engineering required to roll Forge out at scale within an enterprise while working with all their cross-functional teams and maintaining quality.
Building automation is hard; changing how the world’s largest institutions actually operate is something entirely different.
Speaker:
Hima Tammineedi is part of the Founding Team at Forge, where he has done everything from building the product to deploying Forge with customers globally. He previously built and led the Growth team at Ramp, one of the fastest growing fintech startups. He was also a founder in the trucking industry and an ML researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, mainly doing work in multi-domain computer vision and NLP.
About Forge:
Forge (backed by OpenAI and Founders Fund) is creating the next layer of human-computer interaction, combining the intelligence of AI with the reliability of software. With this, they are automating the most complex manual human processes for the world's largest companies. To do this reliably and at large scale, Forge has created a new English programming language with the capability to do all work while being as simple and as elegant as possible. Processes that used to take people multiple hours to do can now be done in a fraction of the time at super-human quality, just given your English instructions.
They’re at an inflection point (went from 0 to many millions in revenue with 4 people in less than a year), with major demand from large enterprises and their C-suites, and are hiring for full-time roles for ambitious business-oriented engineers who want to deploy and scale the next layer of human-computer interaction in the field with customers to transform their global businesses.
They also have one of the strongest and nicest teams (Palantir head of financial services vertical, Scale VP of Ops, Ramp growth lead, ex-founders).
If you’re interested in a full-time Forward Deployed Engineering role, one that combines embedding deeply with customers, account management, writing code, and the intensity of large operational rollouts, see here about the role.
