XR VisionDevCamp 2026

​XR VisionDevCamp is Japan's premier Spatial Computing Hackathon, for coders, artists, designers, educators, storytellers, and dreamers. At this hackathon you will build your dream XR/AR/VR project. All skill levels welcome. We will provider devices for testing, starter projects, and AI tools for those using AI. The event takes place over 2.5 days, starting in the early evening at CIC (One Building) for a keynote, and casual mixer, idea pitches, and then team forming. Hackathon begins

​Day 2: Engineer Cafe @ 10AM we convene to hack in person. Lunch will be available. Teams will break for dinner offsite, and can continue hacking to 10PM. Anyone who needs to keep hacking, we can recommend locations to meet and work.

​Day 3: Engineer Cafe @ 10AM-12PM. Projects turned in at Noon! We will move to CIC for Demos. A quick break, and Judging will follow. at 4pm we will host the award ceremony. Public is welcome to join!

​At the core of XR VisionDevCamp is the hackathon. Attendees group into teams, build a project on-site, and demo it on the closing day. Projects are placed into categories; teams win awards and prizes for their entries. Most participants form teams after arriving with people they have never met before — established teams may also attend together.
