Build Your First AI Skill — A Lunch & Learn Workshop (WMN& Members Only)
Women are using AI 25% less than men. Take a look at that again.
The reason? Not a skills gap, but a training and encouragement gap. Only 72% of women say they've received formal AI training at work, compared to 91% of men.
This workshop is how we change that.
Most AI sessions demonstrate skills, automations or agents, but don’t actually show you how to get there. That's why we're excited to partner with Béné Launois, Chief Marketing Officer at Yoojo, for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of AI skills, see real examples and how she uses them in her day-to-day work, and get to build your own AI skill - all in the company of other women learning and building together.
What we'll do in this session:
Learn how Béné built her own AI skills and agents to solve a real workflow problem — including what didn't work
Get the basics: skill vs. agent, API vs. MCP, and how to actually talk to AI (prompting as a skill)
Build 2–3 example skills together in small breakout rooms, with support the whole time
Walk away knowing how to keep building your skill after today
This session is for you if:
You want to use AI beyond searching, but aren't sure where to start
You have been curious about building AI skills but it feels intimidating
You have a problem, but aren't sure how AI could help solve it
Required for this session:
Claude account (Pro preferred, free is fine)

This session is about learning - not perfection. No coding background needed. Just curiosity — and a willingness to get a little uncomfortable in a room full of women figuring it out together. If there is a word or concept you don't understand during the presentation, ask!
