"Living with your demons" - A solo exhibition by Jakob Håkonsson

​Jakob is a Malmö-based artist and designer who draws the demons we all carry with us. In our world they are metaphorical - in his work, they become literal.

​His characters are expressive, oftentimes silly, and unapologetically honest; reflecting our inner struggles, fears, insecurities and darkest desires. Making the invisible visible, this exhibition puts them all on display. Come see if you recognize some of your own. Expect sculptures, paintings and prints. And the unexpected.

​For the last three years, Jakob has also been working on a graphical novel about mental health, featuring the demons. The novel is semi-autobiographical, blending fantasy and dark comedy to tell a story that is both fantastical and strikingly real. This exhibition marks its release, and the first chance to get your hands on a printed copy.
