Collective Z invites you to the opening reception of Nuclear Eden, the first solo exhibition by New York-based painter and photographer Harrison Haft.
Haft's paintings are built as much as they are made — oil pressed into corroded metal, chrome, lacquer, and particle board; surfaces abraded, burned, and grown into image. His subjects carry symbolic density: animals poised between myth and instinct, portraits fractured and reassembled, figures caught in moments of becoming. The work is lush and unsettling in equal measure.
Nuclear Eden brings together paintings and photographs that together map a world after something — abundant, strange, and alive with consequence.
