Drawn Together: Spooky Sketching Vol II
Join us on Saturday October 17h for a creative workshop designed for anyone who wants to fall back in love with sketching and doodling. Guided by local Toronto artist and designer Meghana Ravi [ @meggu_makes ], this workshop is designed both for seasoned pros and nervous beginners.
This month, we're diving into the spooky side of our imaginations. Expect ghosts, spirits, shadows, strange creatures, eerie spaces, and all things delightfully unsettling as we explore what makes something feel mysterious or a little bit haunted. Through a series of short, guided sketching prompts, we'll play with shape, texture, light, shadow, and atmosphere to create drawings that bring out your spooky.
This is an open space to loosen up, get curious, and let your imagination wander. The exercises are designed to be encouraging and exploratory, with no pressure to make a "good" drawing or have any prior experience. Come ready to sketch, experiment, share, and get geared up for spooky season.
Materials will be provided including sketch paper, but feel free to bring your own sketchbook if you would like.
Event starts at 3pm, and will run until around 5pm.
Light refreshments (food & drink) will be provided.
