The Lang Entrepreneurship Center is pleased to host a Lang Talk with Cyrus Massoumi '03, founder of Zocdoc and Dr. B. Cyrus will discuss his entrepreneurial journey from Columbia Business School to building two groundbreaking ventures in digital health. He will offer a behind-the-scenes look at Zocdoc’s early challenges and milestones, discuss the lessons learned along the way, and bring us up to date with his latest venture, Dr. B. The conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A.
Zocdoc is a digital healthcare platform that helps patients find and book appointments with doctors and healthcare providers online. It allows users to search by specialty, location, and insurance, read verified patient reviews, and schedule visits instantly—all in one convenient place.
Dr. B is an online healthcare platform offering affordable telehealth services across primary care, dermatology, sexual & reproductive health, and longevity/weight-loss programs. As a certified B-Corporation, Dr. B provides “No-Cost Care” for qualifying patients facing financial hardship
Cyrus holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from Wharton.
Lang Talks invites highly-accomplished industry professionals to speak with current students who are interested in topics within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The formats range from roundtable discussions to somewhat larger settings. Space for the Lang Talks is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
