​Get ready for Oakland’s favorite fusion of hoops and tech as we kick off Oakland Tech Week 2026.

​Powered by Innovate Bay, this FREE community 3v3 tournament brings together local youth, adults, and the tech community for high-energy competition, pathways into tech, and major bragging rights.

​Event Highlights

• ​3v3 Tournament: Open to youth (middle & high school) and adults (18+). Up to 12 teams total (3–5 players per roster), playing games to 21 points.

• ​Side Challenges: Free-throw contests, half-court shots, and mini-games throughout the day with live prizes.

• ​Community Vibe: Basketball + Tech + Networking.

​Registration Options

• ​Have a team? Register your full roster of 3–5 players before spots fill up!

• ​Free agent? Sign up solo to join an open squad on game day.

• ​Spectator? Pull up to cheer, shoot for prizes, and connect with local innovators.

​Tournament Structure

• ​12 Teams | 4 Groups: 3 teams per group.

• ​Opening Round: Best-of-3 series to 11 points (8-minute cap).

• ​Playoffs: Group winners advance to the Single-Elimination Semifinals (1 game to 15 points) & Championship.

• ​8:00 AM – 8:45 AM | Setup & Player Warm-Up
  Check-in, digital waiver verification, and open court warm-ups.

• ​8:45 AM – 12:10 PM | Group Stage Games
  Wave 1 (Groups A & B): 9:15 AM – 10:30 AM
  Wave 2 (Groups C & D): 10:55 AM – 12:10 PM

• ​12:20 PM – 12:35 PM | Halftime Showcase
  DJ set, community showcase, and sponsor spotlight.

• ​12:35 PM – 1:25 PM | Playoffs & Championship
  Semifinal matches followed by the Championship game.

• ​1:25 PM – 1:35 PM | Awards & Wrap-Up
  Trophy presentation, MVP award, and group photo.
