Loftie Calm Café

​A Place for Pause During the Venice Biennale Free and open to the public with RSVP.

​Biennale week is awe-inspiring and action-packed. Calm Café arrives as the peaceful respite that's been missing. Unfolding over 3 days, offering a place to land, a place to rest, and a place to breathe.

​The daily programming offers morning yoga, artists workshops, and live sound baths. Guests are welcome to drop in anytime for tea, coffee, or to try something off our curated menu of calming rituals, each designed to create a moment of intentional pause.

​Daily programming

​8:30 – 9:30 AM · Morning yoga on the canal-facing terrace, mats included, just bring yourself

​1:00 – 2:00 PM · Artist workshops, materials provided, no experience needed

​3:30 – 4:30 PM · Live sound bath violin and cello on the terrace

​Stop by any time throughout the day for a tea, coffee, nap, and free products.

​You may RSVP for as many sessions as you'd like to attend. Confirmation requests for your attendance will be sent the night before each event.

​About the project:

​Calm Café is an embodiment of Loftie+, our habit system for putting your phone down at night for better sleep, and during the day for better focus. Each attendee will receive a Loftie Card, a credit-card-sized, lives in your wallet, tap to your phone to start a focus session.

​In partnership with Versatile: a Venetian work club opening its new canal-facing space (intimate rooms, terrace, lounge) to host Calm Café. During Biennale week, Versatile also offers a dedicated press room next door, where journalists can recharge between pavilions.

​Produced by Lover LLC: a creative studio led by Ella Fitch with nearly two decades of work for artists, brands, and cultural institutions. Lover has curated a selection of Venetian artists for each session, so Calm Café supports the local artisan economy.
