A powerful and immersive musical night out, set deep in the underworld
Welcome to Hadestown, where a song can change your fate. The record breaking sensation by singer songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin is now playing to critical acclaim at the Lyric Theatre.
Hadestown intertwines two ancient Greek love stories, Orpheus and Eurydice and King Hades and Persephone (played by Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud), taking you on an unforgettable journey to the underworld and back.
A deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful experience, it invites you to imagine how the world could be.
Called big, beautiful and emotionally blasting by The Guardian, the show has won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.
