Let's Make Love Letters
Come make a love letter -- tender, playful, sincere. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll write to a beloved of any kind: a partner, friend, family member, lost loved one, or an inner aspect of yourself. We’ll start with a brief proposition for what makes a good love letter (a gift, not a request -- an act of loving witness). Then we’ll do a guided meditation to help you appreciate your beloved anew. After some quiet freewrite time we’ll finish with letter folding/“letter locking” and wax seal stamping so you can send your letter off in style -- or take it home to complete later. Bring your favorite pen or pencil and a notebook for freewriting! Wax seal stamping supplies and paper for letter folding will be provided.
