About Event

A private, invite-only dinner for tech leaders in Boston. Limited spots available.

Every company eventually has to redefine who it is. Today AI is forcing nearly every business to make that move.

This intimate dinner is for tech leaders who are living through this uncertainty right now and want to learn how others are navigating the same waters.

Cross-pollinating ideas from different disciplines is what will make this conversation especially interesting.

If you work in product, GTM, finance, ops, or strategy at an ambitious tech company, we'd love to have you join us. VC/PE roles are welcome as well.

About Base Camp Dinners

Base Camp dinners are open conversations among peers. You'll hear what others are working on, have a chance to share your own experience, and gain some new perspective along the way.

Base Camp Dinners are exclusive, invite-only events where you can share experiences with your peers and build new relationships.

No pitches allowed.

Just good conversation; food and drink are on us.

The Hosts

John Rougeux is the founder of Flag & Frontier, a strategic narrative advisory for mid-market executive teams. He has helped public tech companies, VC-backed startups, and global non-profits pull off critical transformations while winning new market territory.

Jess Meher is the former co-founder and CEO of Wonderment. When her business was acquired by Loop, she helped successfully reinvent the business from a point solution to a platform while facing massive competitive pressure.

The Conversation

Jess will kick off the evening by sharing her story of what it's actually like to rethink a company’s identity from scratch, what surprised her, and what she'd do differently.

From there, we’ll open up the conversation to hear what others are experiencing and to share advice, encouragement, and perspective along the way.

About Committee

We'll be gathered at Committee, an upscale Greek ouzeri and cocktail bar in Boston’s Seaport.

We have a private room reserved called The Boardroom, so it will be a great space for conversation.

Itinerary

Join us for an exclusive dinner in The Boardroom at Committee, 50 Northern Ave, Boston, MA 02210.

  • 6:30-7:00pm: Arrivals, drinks, and introductions

  • 7:00–9:30 pm: Dinner and conversation

We follow Chatham House rules: you are free to share what you heard, but who you heard it from remains confidential.

Who's Coming

This installment of the Base Camp Dinner is for GTM, Product, and CEO leaders at growth-stage and mid-market companies in the Boston area.

You must be a Director-level or above to attend.

You’re welcome to request to join or invite a friend or colleague. If you’re a good fit, we’ll be happy to have you join us!
