​Idealist Creatives: Public Art, Activations, and Experiences for Social Good

​A working get-together for artists and creatives who want to do more good for others. This isn't a lecture series — there's no speaker and no audience. Come to pilot, workshop, brainstorm, and test. Bring an idea, join someone else's, or just show up curious.

​The room is full of people who've done this before: public activations, content creation, social practice, and social good projects of every scale. It's a gathering of experienced makers. A great place to find collaborators, and bounce ideas for solo projects.

​The series is led by Matthew Chavez, the creator of Subway Therapy, Listening Lab, and many other smaller projects that aim to build community connection through participatory experiences. At Idealist he helps support creatives doing social good.

​Idealist is our partner, providing meeting space and tasty snacks! Our shared goal is simple: do more good for others. Idealist's part in that is Idealist Days — a monthly framework for doing good that anyone, anywhere can pick up and run with. Our work together will model how others might follow our lead.
