Join us on Thursday, August 7th for a crucial discussion on the QSBS implications posed by The One Big Beautiful Bill

It's been all over the news: The One Big Beautiful Bill is here. Naturally, founders, investors, and LPs are wondering what this means for their businesses and investments.

Let's discuss this together with the experts. The Council is partnering with Alessandro Chesser (Dynasty) and tax expert Catherine Kauffelt (EisnerAmper).

  • What the legislative updates to QSBS actually mean

  • Strategic implications for founders and early-stage investors

  • Navigating compliance and long-term planning

  • What’s still unclear—and what to keep an eye on (pros and cons)

Speakers

  • Alessandro Chesser, Dynasty ~ Alessandro is the founder of Dynasty, where he’s working to make powerful Nevada trusts simple and accessible for everyday families. Before that, he was VP of Sales at Carta, helping grow the company from zero to $300M+ in revenue. He started out in financial services and launched Dynasty in 2022 after seeing how hard it was for most people to access the same trust tools used by the ultra-wealthy.

  • Catherine Kauffelt, EisnerAmper ~ Catherine is a Senior Manager in the firm's Tax Services Group. With nearly a decade of experience, Catherine advises clients on a broad spectrum of tax matters, including complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and state and local tax planning.

Catherine brings a unique blend of in-house and public accounting experience. Her work spans industries and tax structures, enabling her to guide clients through evolving regulatory landscapes and high-impact business decisions. Known for translating technical tax issues into actionable strategies, Catherine is a trusted resource for both emerging companies and established enterprises.

Prior to joining the firm, Catherine was Head of Compliance at a financial solutions company focused on serving early-stage entrepreneurs. She also held positions at two Big Four firms earlier in her career.

Catherine has been recognized as a subject matter expert in national media outlets, including U.S. News & World Report and Fox Business.
