About Event

Privacy on Bitcoin isn't automatic; it's a choice built on understanding how the protocol operates.

Join us for an in-depth, hands-on workshop dedicated to understanding and mastering the core principles of privacy protection when using Bitcoin.

Whether you are looking to secure your personal transactions, avoid common metadata leaks, or gain a deeper technical grasp of chain analysis, this session will give you the knowledge and practical tools to take control of your financial privacy.

AGENDA:

  • Bitcoin's UTXO Model: How Unspent Transaction Outputs work and why they form the foundation of Bitcoin's accounting system.

  • Structure of Bitcoin Transactions: Breaking down inputs, outputs, scripts, and transaction graphs to see what is visible on the blockchain.

  • Bitcoin's Privacy Model: The distinction between anonymity and pseudonymity, and how identity gets linked to addresses.

  • Understanding & Defeating Chain Analysis: How heuristics, address clustering, and surveillance companies track funds—and how to mitigate those risks.

  • CoinJoin Transactions: The mechanics of collaborative transactions, mixing pools, and breaking deterministic transaction links.

  • Best Practices for On-Chain Privacy: Practical guidelines for wallet management, coin control, fee estimation, and avoiding common privacy pitfalls.

WHO'S GUIDING THIS

Led by the Bitshala Contributors. We are a community of Bitcoin developers and educators.
