Who Am I? Hi I'm Sam Chavez 👋🏼
I am a storyteller, strategist, and curious human. As a two spirit (indigenous & trans) New Texican, my childhood in Dallas, TX, studies in film, media, & advertising, and 15+ years of corporate advertising & Big Tech experience have shaped my perspective on the world and what it takes to create change.
I founded the roots of change agency to bring storytelling, strategy, & heart back to organizing. We are a communications agency and healthy media ecosystem supporting activists, organizers, & communicators. Let's get to the roots of our world to build our agency for change, together!
