Definition Operations (DefOps): Executive overview - Canberra

You’re invited to join us for Kompozition’s Definition Operations (DefOps): Executive Overview.

Definition Operations (DefOps) is Kompozition’s approach to translating operational intent, behaviours and constraints into connected models that inform acquisition, engineering and delivery decisions.

This exclusive session offers a practical and accessible introduction to Kompozition’s unique approach to understanding and managing complexity. Designed for senior leaders, program executives, and transformation professionals, it explores how our platform helps organisations gain deep insight into their operations, enabling faster alignment, clearer decision-making, and greater delivery confidence.

What You’ll Learn

• That Systems Engineering is not Mission Engineering.

• The foundational principles of Kompozition’s platform and methodology

• How the Behaviour Modelling Language captures real operational behaviour, constraints, and uncertainty

• How Digital Mission Engineering connects strategy, system design, delivery, and operations

• Practical examples of how organisations are using Kompozition to accelerate transformation, improve procurement outcomes, and reduce program risk

• The role of traceability, interface registers, and acceptance criteria in managing complex programs

Who Should Attend

Executives, program leads, and change agents who are:

• Leading complex programs or portfolios

• Seeking to strengthen alignment between operational goals and system delivery

• Responsible for transformation, procurement, or systems integration

In an environment of rapid change, uncertainty, and complexity, this training is the first step toward building a more adaptive, aligned, and confident organisation.
