Pascal Mayer is a French scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur internationally recognized for his pioneering contributions to the development of Next-Generation DNA Sequencing (NGS) technologies, including Illumina sequencing platforms, which helped transform modern genomics and medicine worldwide.
Throughout his career, he has worked across fields including biophysics, microbiology, physical chemistry, instrumentation, image analysis, and statistical modeling, building a unique multidisciplinary perspective that has driven both scientific discovery and biotech innovation.
In this webinar, “Science is a Good Place for Ugly Little Ducks,” Pascal will share how an unconventional, non-linear scientific journey can become a powerful advantage in times of technological disruption.
