Fresh from her China tour this August, independent singer-songwriter and multimedia artist Yoshe Li 李宥希 is bringing her music to Now Place 此间 in the Bay Area for an intimate evening of live performance and conversation.
This gathering is an invitation to come a little closer—to the songs, the stories behind them, and the emotions that often remain unspoken.
Through live music and conversation, Yoshe will share her journey as a songwriter: how moments and experiences slowly become songs, the vulnerability of putting something personal into music, and the ways love, uncertainty, self-growth, and everyday philosophies find their way into her work.

刚刚结束八月中国巡演的独立唱作人、多媒体艺术家 Yoshe Li 李宥希，将带着她的音乐现场来到湾区的 Now Place 此间。
这个夜晚，我们想离音乐更近一点——靠近一首歌，也靠近一首歌背后的故事，以及那些常常没有被说出口的情绪。
宥希将通过现场演奏与对谈，分享她作为唱作人的创作旅程：一段经历如何慢慢变成一首歌，我们如何将难以言说的情绪放进旋律里，以及爱、不确定、自我成长与日常生活中的细小哲思，如何一点点进入她的创作。
我们会一起听歌、聊天，也为那些还没能被说出口的感受留下一点空间。
ABOUT YOSHE LI / 关于李宥希
Yoshe Li is an independent singer-songwriter and multimedia artist whose expressive voice bridges the raw emotionality of indie music with the melodic sensibility of pop rock. Influenced by artists including John Mayer, Blur, and My Chemical Romance, her music carries stories of love, self-growth, vulnerability, and everyday philosophies of life through a vocal presence that is at once intimate and powerful.
Trained in classical piano and flute from a young age, Yoshe later found her own creative language through singing and guitar, developing a sound characterized by strong melodies and layered vocal arrangements.
She has performed at venues including Heaven Can Wait, S.O.B’s, and :iidrr Gallery in New York; the Chinese Culture Centre and Heintzman House in Toronto; and venues in Montreal. She also opened for Chinese American Bear during their WAH!!! Tour. Her live performances are known for their warmth and storytelling, drawing listeners into a musical world that feels both deeply personal and cinematic.
Her debut EP, It’s Going To Rain Tonight / 今晚要下雨, released last year, captures the delicate emotional tension before a storm—anxiety, anticipation, struggle, and tenderness suspended together in the moments before something breaks open. The EP was featured on the KKBOX homepage and included in Apple Music’s Made in Taiwan and C-Pop Song Dynasty playlists, with additional recommendations from NetEase Cloud Music and QQ Music.
Beyond her music practice, Yoshe shares her creative process and musical life online, building a growing community around her guitar playing and songwriting. Her work has received collaborations and support from brands including Fender, Teenage Engineering, Novation, Supro, Tagima, Adidas Originals, Dr. Martens, Positive Grid, and MINISO. She also teaches the visual programming language TouchDesigner at Parsons School of Design in New York.
