We’ll peek under the hood of writing and publication during this live talk, to be held at noon on the second Thursday of January 2026. Author Kathryn Wilder will join us from her ranch in wondrous Disappointment Valley, Colorado.

Kat has deep roots in cowboying, as well as in understanding water (and lack of it) and writing from the heart. Her path to publishing The Last Cows (Bison/U Nebraska, 2025), her second book on life near the Dolores River, will intrigue you!
