About Event
Aminat is excited to Welcome you to Talking Drum Readers, a history book club with focus on West African history. Our current book is Small by Small: A Nigerian Doctor's Story by Dr Ike Anya
We will meet on a Wednesday every 3 months in a pub or cafe to uncover and discovery West African history through the lens of non- fictional books that cover book categories of biographies, political science and social science.
During session I will facilitate discussion on themes and key highlights in each book. There's no requirement to complete the book! Our focus is to bring people together, uncover new insights and ignite engaging discussions.
