Rootcode AI Community Meetup E-Governance

​We’re excited to welcome Markko Liutkevičius, as our keynote speaker and Prof. Ingrid Pappel as a panellist for the Rootcode AI Community Meetup - E-Governance.

Markko currently serves as the Head of AI at the Estonian Information System Authority (RIA), the government agency driving Estonia’s digital government infrastructure and cybersecurity. Before leading AI at RIA, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at the Estonian Defence League and Chief Information Officer of the Estonian Defence Forces.

​Markko also holds a PhD in Software Science from TalTech.

​In his keynote, “Building trustworthy & privacy-first AI assistants in government,” he’ll break down what it takes to design and deploy AI assistants in the public sector - without compromising privacy or public trust.

​We will also be hosting a panel discussion on "The Future of
e-Governance: digitization to artificial intelligence" featuring Ingrid Pappel. - Professor, E-Governance Technologies and Services at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech).
