About Event

Tech@NYU’s Dev Team has been working hard all semester on Ralph!

Ralph Wiggum, or just Ralph, is an LLM-prompting technique that, simply put, runs the same prompt in a loop, ad infinitum (well, until all features have been implemented). We've built a TUI (terminal UI) app that implements the Ralph paradigm. Just write and iterate on specifications within the app and it'll handle the rest. Within a few hours, you'll have a full functioning feature/app/project with a clean codebase, ready to deploy.

Since Dev Team's launch in Spring 2024, they've offered a structured environment for students to experience the full lifecycle of startup engineering. Participants learn to adapt and grow while shipping products designed for an active user base, moving beyond academic exercises into functional software development.
