From Concept to Manufacturing: Building Hardware in Canada
Hosted at NeuronicWorks Inc.’s Toronto facility, this half-day Toronto Tech Week event is designed for founders and innovators building hardware and connected products. The session offers a practical view of what it takes to move from early concept to manufacturable, scalable products in a Canadian context.
The event will feature sessions on concept-to-manufacturing decision-making, non-dilutive government funding pathways for hardware startups and intellectual property strategies tailored to physical product companies. A candid panel discussion with startup founders will explore the real challenges, and support systems involved in building technical products.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour NeuronicWorks’ manufacturing facility, covering prototyping, PCB assembly, and box build, and participate in complimentary one-on-one consultations with technical leads across hardware, firmware, software, industrial, and mechanical design.
Toronto Tech Week is a citywide celebration of the people building what’s next. From May 26–29, 2026, founders, investors, and builders come together for hundreds of community-led events across Toronto, connecting tens of thousands of people around Canadian tech. Torontotechweek.com
