Jersey Girls: Austin Girls+Women's Sports Mixer was created to elevate, amplify and grow girl/women sports. You do not need to identify as a girl or woman to attend events or join forces with us on projects.

Celebrate the progress we're making in the community of sports; and share good news, events, etc.
Facilitate meaningful networking across the girls/women's sports ecosystem
Provide a supportive, empowering environment to share experiences and successes; and advocate for change needed
Highlight growth opportunities, trends, and potential partnerships in girls/women’s sports
Strengthen the Austin (and surrounding metro) women’s sports community and foster collaborations
Increase INVESTMENT in girls/women's sports at all levels.
Dr. Kyra Kendrick, who will lead Member & Partner Strategy, joined the PRO SPORTS ASSEMBLY team on December 2, 2024 and is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the member experience and value proposition; including partner engagement, education, recruitment and retention. With over 15 years of experience in sports & entertainment, she began her career in sports at the collegiate level at LSU and Kent St. in student-athlete academic support. She then transitioned to football operations at Ole Miss, IU-Bloomington, and UNC-Chapel Hill and most recently served as the Senior Director of Membership at Women Leaders in Sports.
Debra Hallum has the distinction of being the co-owner of the first sports bar in Austin whose mission is to elevate girls and women's sports - by giving fans a place to watch and gather unapologetically. Debra's 1972 Pub, is located at 2530 Guadalupe Street near the University of Texas campus, 1972 Pub opened its doors on March 19, 2025.
