About the Hosts
Ilona Limonta Volkova is the creator of Bear and the Bull, a media platform that focuses on identifying early signals and supporting founders at the very beginning of their journey.
She is also a tech and entrepreneurship writer for Forbes, has collaborated with global brands including Visa and Mastercard, and hosts Money Memories, a leading industry podcast distributed by NPR. Ilona is known for bringing together founders, investors, and operators in high-signal, relationship-driven spaces designed to spark meaningful conversations and long-term connections.
Oscar Josue Gonzalez is the Founder & CEO of 8888 HOME, an AI-native platform building the operating system for homeownership. After nearly 20 years operating across furniture manufacturing, real estate, logistics, and cross-border commerce, Oscar saw a pattern : the largest purchases in a person’s life are still handled through fragmented vendors, misaligned incentives, and outdated workflows.
8888 HOME unifies property discovery, furnishings, and financing into a single, intelligent system—capturing value across the full home lifecycle rather than one transaction at a time. Oscar has previously built and operated profitable businesses across the U.S. and Mexico, generating $20M+ in cumulative sales, giving him rare, hands-on experience in both digital platforms and physical execution.
