Use the Words You Have: A Literary Salon & Open Mic
After the success of Henry Broome’s ongoing writer’s room, and open mic night at Bar Uma this summer, we’re kicking off our autumn events with something sexy, special.
Use the Words You Have, a title taken from Kimberly Campanello’s book of the same name published last year via Somesuch Editions, is a literary salon and open mic for writers & notes app jotters thinking through embodiment, seduction, and the self.
Kimberly will join us from the UK to start the night of readings, followed by Lisbon-based writers Clara Drummond and Bel Hawkins. And then, anything goes. Bring essays, short stories, voice notes, burning questions, unsent text messages.
