🐧 Linux users' group Edinburgh meetup
Are you a seasoned sysadmin, a hobbyist tinkerer, or someone who is just interested in learning more? Join us!
Whether you’ve been compiling your own kernels since the 90s or you're still trying to figure out how to install your first distro, this meetup is for you.
This month we will be hosting a round table talk on Linux in your robotics research.
Why join us?
Knowledge Sharing: From desktop customisation and shell scripting to server management and self-hosting, or you simply want to know which distro might suit you best.
Troubleshooting: Stuck on a driver issue or a "broken" GRUB? Bring your laptop and let’s take a look together. Someone attending might be able to help.
Show & Tell: Discover new tools, hardware projects, open-source alternatives to everyday software, or what options are aviable to get hardware optimised for Linux users.
No Experience Required: We love beginners! If you’re curious about switching from Windows/macOS, we’re here to help you make the jump.
