Founder Sessions: 3 Questions Before You Manufacture
This is for founders, investors, and builders planning their next phase of product manufacturing.
We're hosting a dinner meetup amongst colleagues in the midst of investing in their next manufacturing run.
We will be joined by Sam Pirahanchi, Founder of PiR Industries, and Kyle Valiton, Co-Founder of Informal Spaces.
Sam takes hardware companies from working prototype to scaled production and stays embedded until units ship at rate. Nearly two decades in production execution across aerospace, medical, robotics, and consumer hardware. Seven US patents, granted and pending.
Kyle has worked amongst small startup teams over 15 years to launch 12 products over his career and advise over a hundred founders in the build phase.
What to expect
A roundtable on three questions:
- Was your product designed to be made one at a time, or a thousand at a time?
- What does one unit cost to build at a thousand units, and which parts make up most of that cost?
- What has to be bought, built, or approved before your first production unit, and how long does each one take?2hrs to connect over dinner discussion
All emails + intros will be sent after the event for further connection
Let's work together to setup a robust manufacturing plan for your next build!

Sponsors
informal spaces - We have created a network of spaces supporting people in their build phase. Not only is our space affordable, it's also fully capable for pilot manufacturing, and connects founders to a huge network of qualified talented engineers who know how to make it work.
PiR Industries - PiR Industries builds the manufacturing operation from working prototype to scaled production. The prototype works. Production is a different problem. Built for teams in robotics, consumer devices, medical devices, consumables, automotive, and aerospace that have a working prototype and need manufacturing leadership to get into production. Every engagement starts with the Production Readiness Diagnostic.
