โ€‹Most international students figure out investment banking recruitment after arriving in the U.S. โ€” often too late

โ€‹This session is your chance to get ahead. Meet Wajeeh Mir, an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York. Originally from Pakistan, he studied at NYU and started his career in corporate & investment banking as a summer analyst, and later as a full-time analyst at HSBC.

โ€‹In this session, heโ€™ll break down how he navigated it all: from NYU to Wall Street, and what he wishes someone had told him earlier. He will discuss what day-to-day life at an investment bank looks like and how one can stand out during the recruiting process.

โ€‹Who is this for?
๐ŸŽ“ International students based in the U.S.
๐ŸŽ“ Students moving to the U.S. in Fall 2025
๐ŸŽ“ Anyone exploring careers in finance, business, or consulting

โ€‹What youโ€™ll learn:
โœ… How to build a resume and story that stands out in competitive recruiting
โœ… What to start doing before you arrive on campus
โœ… How to network when you donโ€™t know anyone
โœ… The things Wajeeh wishes he had known earlier

โ€‹This will be a real, honest, no-fluff session โ€” part moderated Q&A, part open conversation where you can ask Wajeeh your questions directly.
