About Sarah:
Sarah spent 25+ years at Board level across the NHS, most recently as Chief Digital and Information Officer at North London NHS Foundation Trust, where she led a £30m digital program and unified data systems across a multi-hospital merger. Before that, she was CIO at Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust, where she saw firsthand how fragmented, inconsistent data shapes (and misshapes) clinical decisions for some of the most vulnerable patients in the system.
This is a conversation worth having because mental health is the sector where data integrity matters most, and fails most often. The inputs are subjective. The systems don't talk to each other. And now AI is being layered on top of it all, promising risk prediction and early intervention, built on foundations that few people are willing to analyze honestly.
